Fees/Fundraising

Fees are collected at the beginning of the Fall Season to cover the operating expenses of the program, such as equipment purchase and repair, Saturday snacks, administrative costs, and the awards banquet.  See the Registration Form for exact fees and due dates.

Those quizzers traveling to tournaments will incur additional expenses, and Nationals teams often hold fundraising events to help with these. Parental involvement will determine the fundraising opportunities offered each year. Quizzers are encouraged to work on their own throughout the year to earn a significant portion of their trip fees, so that fundraising does not become too burdensome for quizzers, parents, or adult volunteers.  Tournament expenses vary; exact amounts will be provided in November for tournaments coming up the following February and April.
